ini_get get_cfg_var and ini_set

What is the difference between get_cfg_var and ini_get

ini_get will return the runtime configuration of a certain php setting whereas get_cfg_var will tell you its setting in the php.ini file.

get_cfg_var()

Gets the value of a PHP configuration option—which is not necessarily the same as the runtime configuration value of that option.

See the manual.

ini_get()

ini_get — Gets the (runtime) value of a configuration option.

See the manual.

ini_set()

ini_set — Sets the value of a configuration option. The configuration option will keep this new value during the script’s execution, and will be restored at the script’s ending.

See the manual.
